DO NOT USE. We had been working with JJN to quote for our new extension since 2020. In Aug 2021 we let them know they'd won the business as their communication had been excellent, and we were happy with the ~7 month lead time before they could start work. In March 2022 they advised us they were ready to start next Monday, and we asked them to come to site first so we could understand what they were doing about the fences, access to site, etc... They popped around on the Friday to take a look, and then emailed us Saturday saying they weren't prepared to do the work... They stated problems with the border, electric cables and access, however NONE of their objections were due to any changes to the work that they'd been quoting for nearly 18 months. The site, the job, and the location haven't changed since we first began talking with them back in 2020, and not one other building firm who have visited site have raised any of these concerns. At no point since accepting the work had they bothered to attend site to check what they'd quoted and agreed to do, and it was only us insisting they come to site before starting that even prompted them to visit. So after 7 months on their waiting list, they turned us down flat, refused to negotiate or even consider the work, and simply left us high and dry with builders now having waiting lists until 2024!! Horribly unprofessional, and not at all trustworthy. They had zero consideration for us as a customer.
